Assisted in evaluating and negotiating terms
of cross-border corporate acquisition used to launch Herschend Entertainment Studios, the company’s content division; served as the group’s Interim President following the completion of the acquisition.​​

Oversaw the US/UK/China international co-production of 52 x11 
min animated preschool television episodes, the initial U.S. broadcast sale, as well as the launch of a corresponding global consumer products + licensing program.

Oversaw all film and television development activities based on existing company I/P as well as acquisitions and co-productions.

Serve as a consultant to the Entertainment Division of this  leading comic strip syndicator and trade publishing house as part of its initiative to  extend its intellectual property into film and television. 

 

Projects include:

  • Successful sale of an animated feature film to a leading global streaming service

  • Setting up multiple projects for production with a leading global kids broadcast network

  • The production, self-release, and subsequent second window sale of a one hour live action special by one of the company’s best-selling authors

of the company’s brand among a number of B2B and B2C cohorts.

Hired to architect and prepare all elements [eg, Business Plan, Staffing Plan, Annual Operating Budgets, Development Targets, etc.] of a contemplated US expansion of this well known Europe-based kids+ family production and distribution company [eg, Miraculous Ladybug], together with a plan for accelerating their upcoming launch of older-skewing live action and animated projects for US and global streaming/broadcast partners.
